Round Table Discussion: Week 4
This weeks question: Coaches on the hot seat. Who has to have a kick-ass season to avoid getting 15 minutes to clean out their desk?
Clearly the answer is Charlie The Hutt. Notre Dame and it's racial biggotry has no choice but to fire Weis if this team doesn't get to a BCS bowl game. Looking at the schedule they should beat Nevada , Michigan , Purdue , Washington , Washington State , Navy , Pittsburgh and UConn with ease. That leaves Michigan State , USC , Boston College and Stanford.
Splitting those final 4 gams would be a 10-2 record and should get them into a BCS game. And lets face it Charlie said they would always have a decisive schematic advantage against teams...and if they were going to fire Ty Willingham for underperforming it's fair to do the same here.
I figure this team goes 9-3 and just misses the BCS bowl. After Urban and Florida win another National Title and Jesus Tebow leaves for the NFL Urban contacts the pope. He confirms his intentions to coach the Irish...Charlie is fired and Urban comes in....The next 4 years every loss is blamed on Charlie...
